Role Overview
Zapier is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and scale its outbound motion for the first time. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth, product-led organization and play a foundational role in shaping how Zapier engages with prospective customers.
As an SDR, you’ll focus on generating qualified pipeline, educating prospects on Zapier’s automation platform, and partnering closely with Account Executives to drive revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and engage high-potential prospects using outbound outreach (email, calls, social)
- Qualify inbound leads and uncover customer needs through discovery conversations
- Educate prospects on Zapier’s automation capabilities and use cases
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to refine outreach strategies and messaging
- Experiment with new prospecting methods, messaging, and workflows
- Document learnings and insights to improve sales processes and enablement
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
- Strong curiosity about automation, AI, and workflow optimization
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and iterating quickly
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SaaS tools, CRMs, and sales engagement platforms
