Role Mission
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Smartcat, your mission is to engage, connect with, and qualify both inbound and outbound prospects—fueling pipeline growth across strategic and velocity sales teams.
This role is ideal for a high-energy SDR who thrives in fast-paced SaaS environments, enjoys outbound prospecting, and is curious about AI, SaaS, and the global localization industry.
Responsibilities
- Engage and qualify inbound MQLs
- Prospect into strategic enterprise accounts using ABM-driven outbound motions
- Execute cold calls, email, and social outreach (100+ calls/day expected)
- Book qualified, high-value meetings for Account Executives
- Own lead generation within assigned verticals
- Qualify prospects for pain, budget, authority, and fit
- Maintain accurate CRM data and detailed prospect notes (HubSpot preferred)
- Develop creative strategies to reach and influence decision-makers
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Revenue Operations
- Act as the voice of the customer, sharing insights on pain points and buying behavior
Requirements
- 2+ years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High resilience, urgency, and ownership mindset
- Comfortable working remotely across global time zones
- Experience with Sandler sales methodology is a plus
- Passion for AI, SaaS, and the global translation/localization industry
