About the Role
Hwy Haul is seeking motivated Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to accelerate growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospects, and scheduling qualified meetings and demos for the sales team. This is a hands-on role at the forefront of outreach, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect & Qualify: Research and identify potential customers in targeted industries such as Food, Fresh Produce, Retail, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
- Engage Leads: Reach out via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to communicate Hwy Haul’s unique value proposition.
- Discovery Conversations: Conduct initial discussions to understand customer pain points, goals, and qualification criteria.
- Schedule Meetings: Set qualified demos and meetings for senior sales executives.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to execute targeted outreach campaigns.
- CRM Management: Track all activities and pipeline growth in HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in Sales, Business Development, or similar customer-facing roles. SaaS or Logistics/Transportation experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and active listening abilities.
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Proven ability to prospect, engage, and build relationships via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Organized & Self-Driven: Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and comfortable in a startup environment.
- Tech Savvy: Familiar with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, FreshSales) and outreach tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, Outreach.io).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
